New Fiction at wigleaf

Isn't it one of the best-designed sites ever for very short fiction?

Starring Peter O'Toole and Zero Mostel! Or that's how I see it. Most enjoyable.

Ah, thanks for that. Zero Mostel! My heart always gladdens a little when I think of Zero Mostel; I remember him in a number of wonderful roles from when I was a kid, including that gentle stranger in the park -- oh, wait, that was just a guy who looked like Zero Mostel, at first anyway, in the dark...

I'd read somewhere that he once appeared onstage as Leopold Bloom, and I thought how perfect is that.

Uncannily, Gene Wilder plays a "Leo Bloom" to Zero's "Max... (let me break out the Wiki on this... hold on.... erm... that's it)...Max Bialystock". And guess on which day the two characters meet? That sure was a literate Hollywood, back then...
